Three Things to do before You Go to Bed
If you have trouble sleeping at night, then you may be wondering what sort of things you can do before you go to bed to sleep for an entire eight hours without interruptions. One of the most important things that you can do is to power down your gadgets. Even though most people do not think that the blue light from there phone, tablet or other device will affect them, there are actually studies that prove the opposite. Switching off your devices will not only prevent the blue light from affecting your sleep, but it will also keep you from checking Twitter or texts in the middle the night
You also want to make sure that you set the right environment. The perfect sleep environment is fairly cool, dark and extremely quiet. Do what you can to eliminate all of the light and the noise from your sleeping area.
Finally, make sure that you reflect quietly on things that you want to do the next day or ideas for a book that you are writing or anything you choose. Reflecting on things not only allows your subconscious mind to mull them over, it also winds your brain down so that you can get a good night sleep. Listening to an audiobook or watching a movie is not the right way to go about it.
